Introduction
To ensure proper documentation and compliance, you can configure Mazlo to automatically freeze a card if a set number of transactions are made without an attached receipt. Follow the steps below to enable a card transaction limit for all the Mazlo cards in your account.
Set a Limit on Card Transactions Without a Receipt
Step 1: Open the Configuration Settings
First, click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
And select Configuration from the menu.
Step 2: Scroll down to the section labeled 'Limit Card Transactions without Attachments'
Toggle the setting on to enable a limit on card transactions without attachments.
Enter the maximum number of transactions that can be made without an attachment before a card is frozen.
Save your settings.
Note: This limit will be applied to all cardholders and won't include any transactions that have already occurred.
What Happens Next?
When a cardholder*makes a card payment without attaching a receipt, they will receive an email reminder to upload the required documentation.
*A cardholder is any user, project or fiscal sponsor, with a Mazlo card.
If the number of transactions without a receipt exceeds the set limit, the card will be automatically frozen until an attachment is provided. Once the attachment is uploaded, the card will unfreeze.
Best Practices
To prevent any disruption, we strongly recommend informing your fiscally sponsored projects and the fiscal sponsor team about this policy in advance. The transaction limit applies to all cards in your organization's account, so please inform all cardholders of the limit.
