Set a Limit on Card Transactions Without a Receipt
In the cards manager, you can set the limit of transactions that can be made without an attachment. Once this limit is met, the Mazlo card will be frozen until the attachment is uploaded.
Introduction
To ensure proper documentation and compliance, you can configure Mazlo to automatically freeze a card if a set number of transactions are made without an attached receipt. Follow the steps below to enable a card transaction limit for all the Mazlo cards in your account.
Set a Limit on Card Transactions Without a Receipt
Step 1: Open the Cards Manager
From the Cards page on the left-side menu, click on Bulk Edit.
Step 2: Toggle on 'Auto-Freeze' to Limit Card Transactions without Attachments
Toggle the setting on to enable a limit on card transactions without attachments.
Enter the maximum number of transactions that can be made without an attachment before a card is frozen.
Set the date for this limit to begin. Note: The limit will only include the transactions starting on the date you select.
Save your settings.
What Happens Next?
When a cardholder makes a card payment without attaching a receipt, they will receive an email reminder to upload the required documentation.
If the number of transactions without a receipt exceeds the set limit, the card will be automatically frozen until an attachment is provided. Once the attachment is uploaded, the card will unfreeze.
Best Practices
To prevent any disruption, we strongly recommend informing your fiscally sponsored projects and the fiscal sponsor team about this policy in advance. The transaction limit applies to all cards in your organization's account, so please inform all cardholders of the limit.
