Make a Mobile Check Deposit

Mobile check deposits are a convenient way to deposit checks into your account using your desktop or Mazlo's mobile app. Please review the check standards to ensure a smooth and successful deposit.

Review the Check Standards

Remember to follow these check standards when using remote check deposit:

  • Endorse the check with 'For mobile deposit at Regent only.'

  • Ensure the check is signed by the account owner.

  • Check the date (the check must be less than 180 days old).

  • Ensure the images of the physical check are clear and all four corners of the check are visible.

  • Ensure the check is made out to the Organization or Project's name.

  • Ensure the check is NOT a money order. Money orders are not accepted by Regent Bank via Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) due to their potential fraud risk.


Make a Check Deposit

Step 1. From 'Mobile Deposit,' Select the Account you want to Deposit the Check into


Step 2. Next, Enter the Exact Amount of the Check

Enter the exact amount written on the check. Then click 'Next.'


Step 3: (Optional) Enter the Deposit Information

Select the correct accounting code.

Select a contact or add a new profile for this donor. To create a new contact, all you need is the donor's first and last name. Optionally, you can add their email, which is required in order to send them a tax receipt. You can also enter their address or external ID and click 'Save.'

Enter the memo on the check.

Optionally, enter a description.


Step 4. Upload Clear Images of the Check

Upload clear images of the front and back and ensure the images meet the check standards listed above. Click 'Next.'


Step 5. Review and Confirm the Mobile Deposit Details

Review and confirm all the details of the check deposit. Click 'Submit.'

Keep Mazlo open while the check details are verified and uploaded.


Step 6. Success! Your Check is Now Pending Approval from the Bank

Checks typically take about 5 business days to settle in your Mazlo account.
